‘The Voice’ Coaches Blake Shelton And Adam Levine Reveal Possible Replacements
Speculations are rife that two of The Voice coaches who have been in the show since season 1 may be leaving the show after this season which premires on NBC this February 27.
In their recent chat with Yahoo, The Voice Shelton and Levine came up with the issue of taking a break from the show, even when the duo aren’t expected to take a season off in the near future.
The Voice Shelton and Levine went on to disclosed those they think would be good replacements.
Levine picked Bruno Mars and Justin Timberlake as possible replacements, his words “I would entrust my position with very few people. Maybe, like, I’d let Bruno Mars in the door. I think he’s great.” “And we’ll see how many kids Justin Timberlake has, if he can handle another job. Maybe Justin can do it. And yeah, that’s pretty much it.”
Mars took an audition- like form of appearance in The Voice season 11where he performed his hit song “24k Magic.”
On his part, selecting a replacement was that easy for Shelton, at a point Alicia Keys had to come in, suggesting Chris Stapleton would properly fit into the job, but for Shelton, the dude is too nice for the competition.
Shelton said “We need somebody that’s, like, going to come in swinging. So I’m gonna say David Lee Roth!”
Despite The Voice Shelton and Levine picking their replacements the duo noted they aren’t leaving the show anytime soon.
Coach Levine thinks his leaving The Voice must be when the show must have ended.
Speaking about Levine, Gwen said “Adam is the most competitive person I’ve ever met in my life. He can’t help it. He’s passionate. And that’s probably why he’s made it this far in life.”
However, some fans of the NBC hit singing competition have threatened to stop watching the show if The Voice Shelton and Levine leave.
