Donald Trump Sued For Sexual Assault 3 Days To His Inauguration
A Former contestant on The Apprentice, Summer Zervos has filed a suit against US President -elect Donald Trump just three days to his inauguration.
Zervos competed on season 5 of The Apprentice reality show during Trump’s tenure as host.
Donald Trump’s inauguration is billed for January 20, 2017, but on Tuesday, January 17, Zervos declared she is suing Trump for defamation.
In a press conference, Zervos’ lawyer Gloria Allred said the lawsuit was filed in New York on Tuesday which “seeks to make Donald Trump accountable for the damage he has caused Ms. Zervos. “Enough is enough. Truth matters.
“Women matter, those who allege that they were victims of sexual misconduct or sexual assault by Donald Trump matter.”
This was coming before Donald Trump’s inauguration even after Allred and her client Zervos in a previous press conference held in November following Trump’s election reiterated they had ‘no present intent’ to bring a lawsuit against Trump.
According to Allred, Zervos volunteered to take a polygraph examination ahead of the press conference in regard to her assault claims, adding that the polygraph was administered by a “very experienced” polygraph examiner, and Zervos passed.
Allred despite knowing that Donald Trump’s inauguration is at hand said that her client was willing to dismiss the lawsuit if Trump retracts his “false statements” about her and confirms that her allegations were true.
Remember that Zervos was among the women who publicly accused Donald of sexual harassment days before the US election last year.
In her previous claims, Zervos alleged Donald assaulted her at a Los Angeles hotel in 2007, after first stealing a kiss from her without her consent at Trump Tower.
She further claimed that the same year, Trump allegedly phoned her California home, and asked her to visit the Beverly Hills Hotel, where he was staying, for a business meeting.
While at the supposed meeting venue(Trump’s hotel room), Trump allegedly began kissing her “very aggressively and placed his hand on my breast.” as she struggled to push back Donald tried to pull her into the suite’s bedroom, and put her “in an embrace.”
“I pushed his chest to put space between us and I said ‘Come on man, get real.’ He repeated my words back to me, ‘Get real’ as he began thrusting his genitals. He tried to kiss me again and with my hand still on his chest I said ‘Dude, you’re trippin’ right now,’ attempting to make it clear that I was not interested.” Zervos alleged.
However, In October, Trump reacted to the claims in a statement published by PEOPLE which stated “To be clear, I never met her at a hotel or greeted her inappropriately a decade ago. That is not who I am as a person, and it is not how I’ve conducted my life.”
Despite refuting Zervos claims, he later went ahead to label all the women alleging he assaulted them “liars.” Adding the accusations were “all 100 percent, totally and completely fabricated,” and “in just about all cases, nonsense.”
First there was a purported “footage” of Trump sexually assaulting, now a suit.
