The Strictly Come Dancing Curse is a situation where celebrities or their dance partners break-up with their current lovers during or after the show – or they get together and then separate.
It was given the name ‘Strictly curse’ because appearing on the show has resulted in so many couples breaking up.
Gleb Savchenko who was a professional dancer in the Britain television reality series competition – Strictly Come Dancing has revealed why the Strictly Come Dancing curse exists in the show.
Speaking during his appearance with his wife Elena Samodanova at loose women last Friday, December 9, 2016, the 33-year old said he believes the show has caused so many break-ups because the celebrities taking part aren’t accustomed to such close proximity and passion.
Gleb Savchvenko said ”I have been doing it for 25 years and we are used to being so close to people, its normal, it’s part of the acting whether it’s funny cheeky or sexual.
“When you have someone whose never done it before, like a celebrity, they think What are you doing”?
The 33 year old Russian is presently participating in Dancing With The Stars which is the America version of the show, and he revealed that he will not be coming back to Strictly unless as a judge one day.
Gleb said ”Unfortunately no, I’m not coming back to Strictly. Maybe as a judge… one day.’
Speaking about their relocation to Los Angeles, the pro dancer said they are doing so for the sake of their daughter’s education.
Gleb and his wife were two of the stars who have broken the ‘Strictly curse’ jinx. They brought their relationship to the public domain in 2015 and they recently welcomed a baby girl.
