Love Island Premiere’s June 6, Signs Wannabe Pro Wrestler, Why The Show Is Extended By 7 Days
The HIT ITV reality show, Love Island Premiere’s June 6, next week Monday and the organizers have signed 23-year-old wannabe pro wrestler and model, Jessica Rose Shears.
Jessica who is the only contestant to be revealed by the show runners will join show host Caroline Flack at the new look Villa.
According to The Sun report, Jessica Shears who is signed by Love Island as its first confirmed contestant already enjoys about 330K followers on Instagram.
The media outfit report has it that Celebrity Big Brother reality game star Calum Best is already showing interest on the wannabe pro wrestler, although he’s not alone in this as Jessica’s Ex on the Beach’s Rogan O’Connor, is reportedly interested.
Speaking on her desire to be a professional wrestler she noted “I have always loved wrestling.
“I used to play it on PlayStation when I was a kid and watch it all the time on Saturdays and Sundays.
“As I’ve got older I’ve played the sport professionally in other areas and I thought why not.
On her inspiration hear her “The Rock is so charismatic and it was always captivating watching him.”
And according to a source “Jessica is the perfect fit for the show.
“She’s fun and sexy and extremely body confident – and is genuinely looking for love.
“Jessica used to play water polo for Great Britain and trained in wrestling so won’t hold back when it comes to the tasks either.”
Meanwhile, the show runners have extended this year’s show by a week to provoke even more casual sex and furious rows, following the success of the show last year.
And they confirmed that the addition of another seven days would allow for more steamy action and blazing disputes than ever before.
A source said: “Due to the massive success of last year’s series among viewers, bosses have decided to extend the current one by a week.
“They hope this will give contestants a greater chance of finding love and lead to more summer loving than ever before.”
Love Island also confirmed the introduction of a celeb-studded panel that will be giving their views on the action in the villa live on a weekly programme filmed in UK studio and will also be getting the first gossip from Islanders who have been evicted from the show.
