Casting ‘Legally Blonde’ a non-union tour that will have a first preview performance in the NYC area and then will be on a two month layoff before it heads out for a tour in China.

Gb2-G5 Soprano Belt; Elle is a very bubbly college-age girl (“valley-girl”) who follows her ex-boyfriend to Harvard Law School and realizes that she has more to offer than just a pretty face and a bubbly personality; lovable, determined, vulnerable, energetic and outgoing; a true triple threat (tap dance skills are a plus); must be comfortable handling dogs and be willing to be/become blonde; leading role.

Rehearsals begin Sept. 5 in NYC; first preview Oct. 1 in the NYC area (Then the show goes on lay off so the physical production can travel to China by boat); cast travel to China Dec. 8; run begins Dec. 14, 2017-Feb. 6, 2018 in cities in China; opening night in Shanghai, China, include Beijing.
‘Legally Blonde’ Compensation & Union Contract Details
Pays $400/wk. ensemble; pays $500/wk. supporting role; and $750/wk. leading roles. Weekly per diem and housing travel additional holding fee.
