Celebrity Big Brother: How The Game Is Played

In this reality game show, the contestants are known as housemates, who are isolated from the rest of the world.
The Celebrity Big Brother housemates are frequently kept under surveillance and during their stay in the isolated house, the Celebrity Big Brother housemates are expected to nominate two of their fellow contestants.
The nominated Celebrity Big Brother housemates will be put up for possible eviction, and at the end of the week, the fate of the two or more contestants nominated will be decided by the viewers.
What makes the game more interesting is that it’s through this process that housemates are eliminated from the show. So, the process is mandated upon all the housemates.
If any of the Celebrity Big Brother housemates refuses to nominate fellow contestants such candidate could be expelled from the house.
When the show was aired on Channel 4, viewers voted to evict one of the nominated Celebrity Big Brother housemates and any contestant with the highest votes would be automatically evicted from the show.
But the third series saw viewers vote to save one of the celebrities. And this continued when Channel 5, took over. The public vote to save Celebrity Big Brother housemates and the housemate with the least amount of votes would be evicted.
The votes come through telephone or online. Each week, one of the Celebrity Big Brother housemates is evicted by a public vote.
While in the house, the housemates are given weekly tasks to perform.
The contestants wager a portion of their weekly shopping budget on the task, and either win double their wagered fund or lose the wagered fund depending on their performance in the task.
The Celebrity Big Brother housemates are also expected to work as a group to complete their tasks, and the format of the tasks changes as the housemates are eliminated from the show.
Also, some Celebrity Big Brother housemates are given secret tasks which they must complete as individuals or small group and if the contestants refuse to carry out such task, they can be punished or nominated up for eviction.
Celebrity Big Brother housemates also visit the Diary Room during their stay in the House, where they are able to share their thoughts and feelings on their fellow housemates and the game.
However, if the housemates run out of the food provided for them, an emergency ration was always available to them. And they are forbidden from discussing nominations, and doing so could result in punishment.
Meanwhile, during the Final week, viewers vote for which of the remaining celebrities should win the series, and the housemate with the highest votes becomes the winner.
